Explorer Scouts form one of the two ''new sections'' introduced with the new youth programme. It provides for young people in the age-range of 14-18 years.

The provision offers young people an exciting range of activities from one or more units operated by the District. In addition to the wide-ranging activities, members of the section have the opportunity to work towards a revised Queen Scout Award and the D of E Award.

Young Leader Scheme
